There are many benefits to both customers and the District when customers sign up for EyeOnWater and smart meters are used to their full advantage, including:
- Leak alerts - Leaks are the main reason for water loss when they go undetected in a community. You can do your part by signing up for EyeOnWater and setting up leak alerts to notify you if you have a leak in your home or business.
- Saving time and money - When customers are signed up for leak alerts and high usage alerts, customers can get notified of high usage/leaks before they get their bill, so any problems can be addressed without delay. This can save customers a lot of time, money, and stress, and avoids the need to call the operator to request a bill adjustment.
- Water conservation - Water is a precious resource, and by encouraging customers to utilize the EyeOnWater app, the District as a whole can be more water-conscious and conservation-minded. This is especially important during the summer months that are much hotter and drier than the rest of the year, making water an even more precious commodity.
Sign-up for EyeOnWater by May 31 to get A $10 credit on your water bill. If you are already signed up for EyeOnWater, no action needed! You will automatically be credited.
